Grand County residents were willing to wait in line Saturday, October 1 in order to drop off 778 tires from residents' backyards and barns. These tires were hauled down to Colorado Springs to be shredded for fuel in cement kiln factories.
During the event, people had opportunity to donate with funds going to Rotary's polio fund. $670 was raised!
