Education & Youth Development

  • Scholarships: Award $16,000 annually in scholarships for graduating seniors in Grand County to support their pursuit of higher education.
  • Youth Exchange: Sponsors and support both inbound and outbound exchange students, promoting international understanding and cultural immersion.
  • Leadership Development (High School): Sponsors local high school students to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camp each year to build character and leadership skills.
  • High School Interact Club - Sponsors and supports the Interact Club at MPHS with their fundraising efforts, with their local and international projects.
  • Leadership Development (Middle School): Sends two qualified middle school students to Young RYLA, providing early-intervention leadership training.
  • Literacy: Provides a complimentary hardbound dictionary to every third-grade student in Grand County to foster early literacy. Early Childhood, partnering with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to provide children ages 0–5 in Grand County with one free, high-quality book every month, Reading Programs, support Library "Read-to-Me" and Summer Reading programs to encourage a lifelong love of books.

Community Service & Environment 

  • Waste Reduction: Actively reduces landfill waste through plastic bag recycling initiatives and regular volunteer support at Granby’s Recycle Saturdays.
  • Community Grants: Provides financial grants to numerous local non-profits, including Grand Futures, Pet Pals, Habitat for Humanity, Headwaters Trail Alliance, and local school arts and music programs.
  • Blood Drives: Sponsors and facilitates quarterly Vitalant (formerly Bonfils) blood drives to support regional healthcare needs.
  • Highway Cleanup: Maintains a cleaner community through the Adopt-A-Highway program, managing litter pickup for one mile of local highway.
  • 4th of July Celebration: Hosts the Party in the Park lunch concession in Polhamus Park immediately following the annual 4th of July parade.
  • Rodeo Concessions: Provides concessions for the Flying Heels Rodeo during the June and July seasons.

International Impact 

  • Type your content here...Polio Eradication: Contributes to the global effort to End Polio Now, a signature Rotary International initiative that has nearly eradicated the disease worldwide.
  • Clean Water Initiatives: Supports international clean water projects to provide sustainable access to safe water and sanitation in developing communities.
  • Humanitarian Service: Members contribute to The Rotary Foundation, supporting a wide array of humanitarian service projects across the globe.
