Last year we organized a District Designated Fund grant to Grand County Pet Pals to help with the construction of the new animal shelter in Granby. Part of any DDF project is hands-on service, and the club showed up on Friday to help stain the new shed at the shelter campus!
There is more work to be done to get the shelter ready, including seeding the grounds. That will be done in a few weeks.

Thank you so much to Amy Birtwistle from the US Forest Service for giving a great presentation at our meeting yesterday about invasive plants in Grand County. It was such an educational talk, this is important information for everyone to know.
